KayLeanna has been assisting her mom, makeup artist Kat Flynt since age 15 on many makeup assignments and during this time found her passion for the art of hair styling and making up faces.
She had started out as a model in the children's division of Atlanta Models & Talent. Then in middle school she became involved in drama club. Once she outgrew children's division at AMT but was too short to move into their fashion division - she made the transfer over to Houghton Talent as an actress. KayLeanna continued her involvement in Drama Club throughout middle school and now in high school. During her Sophmore year she became the Key Makeup Artist for Dacula High School's Drama Department which she continued through her Junior year.
During her Senior year of high school she completed the one year Cosmetology program at Maxwell Technical High School with straight A's. Also, during her senior year, at only 17 years old, she landed her first paying gig styling hair and doing the makeup applications for Parsley & Sage’s 48 page Spring 2011 Catalogue. She is continuing her education for the Master Cosmetology License at Gwinnett Technical College 2011-2012.

Atlanta based freelance makeup artist, Kat Flynt is best known for her clean makeup applications that enhance the natural beauty. With a clientele that spans the eastern United States from Atlanta to New York, her body of work – which includes commercials, video productions, print advertising, catalogues, and fashion editorials – exemplifies her ability to enhance the natural beauty of the face as well as creating flawless, modern looks specifically for each project or special occasion.
Kat first got her start applying makeup for an Atlanta area studio's glamour shoots in 1993. From there she began receiving requests to do bridal makeup and entire wedding parties. In 2002, after nine years of successfully proving her natural talent and self taught skills, she chose to continue her education and become a licensed Esthetician (Skin Care Specialist). Kat continued to pursue her education over the next few years during which time she also served on the freelance teams for Chanel, MAC and Bobbi Brown.
